A Bentley Continental has always been an exceedingly elegant and special car and a very late Bentley Continental convertible, one of only 421 examples built, is the epitome of open top motoring and very desirable indeed. This car was delivered new to the USA and delivered to the father-in-law of the current owner. In 2007 he took over the Continental and had it imported into Switzerland. Since then, the car has been used sparingly during the summer months for short trips in the Bernese Mountain area and has enjoyed regular and thorough maintenance. In September 2021 the Continental was driven to one of the world’s leading Rolls Royce and Bentley specialists P&A Wood in England, who, besides a major service, replaced the air conditioning compressor and converted the system to the current R134A specification. At the same time the hydraulic systems pressure reservoirs were replaced and the coachwork freed of minor signs of age and use. With only two owners around 32’000 kilometres driven and freshly serviced, the Bentley is in very good condition and more than ready to welcome a new connoisseur and enthusiast. The last MOT was completed in July 2019.
