With its 2.5 litre V6 delivering 128 horsepower, thanks to the very desirable 3 carburettor specs, this elegant Lancia Coupé certainly belonged to the automotive upper class of the 1960s. The coachwork, designed and built by Pininfarina, together with the powerful engine and a luxurious interior resulted in a new price of around 30'000 francs. (A Volkswagen Beetle in those days cost around 7'000 francs). Only 950 examples were eventually built. This example is a Swiss delivery and was first registered on the 24th July 1963. In 1990/91, then showing 73’800 kilometres, the coachwork and interior were completely restored by a Lancia expert. Receipts for 42’000 Swiss francs for the work are available. With now roughly 81’000 kilometres driven, the elegant and comfortable luxury coupe is in very good and lovingly cared for condition. The last Veteran MOT was completed in May 2022.
