This 2002 turbo – one of only 1'672 examples built - was delivered in Bienne on 8th May 1974 and first registered on the 9th of May. Since 1976 the car has been with its last owner who, after a major engine damage in 1978 had a practically new exchange unit installed. The owners' statements, the original service booklet as well as the emission control document would indicate the 78’500 kilometres shown to be correct. With the ultra-rare but period correct, and approved BBS magnesium rims the BMW is in good, well maintained original condition and received a Veteran MOT in March 2022.
