With 2’056 examples built, few enthusiasts had the means to pay considerably more than 250’000 Swiss francs for the latest elegant and fast GT from Maranello. For this sum, the buyer received a 5.7 litre V12 engine delivering 515 horsepower, a beautifully finished leather interior, electrically operated windows, air conditioning and all the other trimmings expected from a car of this class. The car we have on offer, with its beautiful and elegant Pininfarina design, was painted in blue Le Mans and equipped with a beige leather interior. Together with its paddleshift F1 6- speed gearbox, the first owner also ordered a set of leatherbags in the same beige. On the 19th of December 2002 the 575 M was handed over to its first owner by the Ferrari agency in Lausanne. In the following 18 years the coupe was driven 59’000 kilometres and was always correctly maintained, as the service booklet and other maintenance receipts from 2016 to 2020 clearly show. In June 2020 the cambelt and its tensioners were replaced before the car was handed over to its second, and so far, last owner in September of the same year. Because of a few stone chips and other paint imperfections he decided to have the car completely repainted in its original colour. The Ferrari now shows around 61’500 kilometres and is in very good and very well-maintained condition and will be sold with the most recent MOT from May 2022.
