This 356 T6 was delivered new to Italy and that’s where it spent the most part of its life. In 1999, after numerous ownership changes, the car was taken over by a collector from Carnago and converted into a race car. The Porsche received a roll cage, aluminium rims, racing seats, a racing harness, and -useful for racing use- a set of additional instruments. The interior was, in the interest of weight reduction, stripped of any carpets, sound deadening and the rear seats. Until 2007 the car remained in the same collection until it was sold to Germany. In 2010 the 356 was bought by an enthusiast and imported into Switzerland, with the intention of using it in a number of hillclimbs. Lack of time never allowed such luxuries however and the car was stored. In 2020 the Porsche was carefully woken from its hibernation and MOT checked for the first time on 12th May 2021. The little racer is in good condition, and, with a recent clutch replacement, is ready to provide loads of excitement on the next Oldtimer rally.
