Triumph 1800 1947

This most interesting and rather handsome Triumph, with its unique folding seats in the boot and its separate windscreen for the rear passengers, is one of only 2'501 examples built and relies on a sturdy 1.8 litre four cylinder OHV engine. The car was delivered in England for the first time on 23rd August 1947 and passed through several hands before it was restored towards the end of the 1990s, beginning 2000. In 2013, the roadster was bought by an enthusiast and imported into Switzerland. He clearly loved his Triumph and during the following years the roadster was carefully maintained and cherished regardless of cost. This loving care included, between 2013 and 2020, an overhaul of the brakes, gearbox, radiator, carburettor and the electrical system. A substantial file with all receipts for revisions and maintenance done as well as details to the cars history is available. The Triumph only has had one Swiss owner and is in very good condition with the last Swiss Veteran MOT having been completed in July 2019.
